Celebrating its 34rd year, The New World Festival of the Arts will be held on Wednesday, August 13th and Thursday, August 14th on the waterfront in downtown Manteo. The 2-day festival is open to artists from throughout the country. The juried show will exhibit original works from 75 artists from throughout the east coast. Over a dozen artists are new to the show this year and are extremely excited to be a part of such a unique and established Festival. Exhibitors include watercolors, oil & acrylic, graphics, drawings, photography, jewelry, sculpture, and pottery. The show will be open on Wednesday from 10am-6pm and on Thursday from 10am-5:30pm. A shuttle bus located at the College of The Albemarle’s Roanoke Island Campus on Highway 64 will be available to provide transportation to the Manteo Waterfront area. The free parking & free shuttle service is being provided by Dare County. The New World Festival of the Arts is a family friendly outdoor show for all ages.
