The 4th annual Kitty Hawk Elementary PTA Fall Carnival Flying Falcon Road Race is Saturday, November 2nd at the school in Southern Shores. 100% of the net proceeds are donated to the KHES PTA promoting and assisting student/teacher programs and needs. To celebrate the past, present, and future of surf fishing at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, a full day of talks and presentations on a variety of surf fishing-related topics will be offered at the 1st Cape Hatteras Surf Fishing Heritage Celebration on November 2nd. Toddlers 5 years of age and under have the entire facility to themselves. During toddler time, the entire park is reserved for the little jumpers along with music and entertainment suited for them. $8/hour per toddler and one adult jumps for free.
