Get ready for a great week of fun events with beautiful weather this week on the Outer Banks.
Celebrate Summer with Kitty Hawk Kites and support the Outer Banks Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Coalition at the Annual Outer Banks Watermelon Festival on Thursday, August 3rd at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing in Nags Head. There will be games, eating contests, face painting, tie-dye shirt making, arts & crafts, an inflatable waterslide, tons of watermelon, food and fun!
Also on August 3rd, TRI OBX Sports presents the 2017 Outer Banks Run, Swim, Run & 5K on the beach at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head. Come participate in this open water run, swim, run event paired with a casual & walker friendly 5k – online and walk-up registration is available – get more details here.
As always, there is also a bunch of live music nightly at restaurants throughout the Outer Banks…
