Dare County Arts Council will host the 30th Annual Artrageous Kids Art Festival on Saturday, May 11 from 10am-3pm at Dowdy Park in Nags Head. Artrageous is a free, family-friendly, fun event featuring kids art activities, live music, local artisans selling their creative goods, and a variety of local restaurants selling lunch and snack items.

This year’s theme, A Big, Bright, Beautiful World, will provide children with the opportunity to create, participate and celebrate art and culture in our community and around the world.

Artrageous is organized and staffed by volunteer artists, musicians, crafters, dancers, writers, photographers and other creative people who dedicate their time and energy to the event each year.

Proceeds from Artrageous benefit DCAC cultural arts programming and the Artrageous Youth Scholarship Fund, which awards one scholarship to a senior at each Dare County High School.
