Bring out the kids for a morning of FREE Pier fishing, FREE hot dogs and lots of Fun. No Fishing Licenses Required.

This years Youth Tournament will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 with fishing from four piers; Avalon Pier, Nags Head Pier, Jennettes Pier and The Outer Banks Pier. Registration is at the pier of your choice starting at 7:30 A.M. There are two age groups eligible: age 4-9 and 10-16. Fishing starts at 8:00 and ends at Noon. Club members will be on hand to monitor the catches and provide assistance. Each entrant will receive a Tournament Shirt and there is no entry fee.

An award ceremony is held at 1:00 P.M. at a location to be determined. Hot dogs, Chips, Cookies and drinks are provided. Prizes and trophies are awarded for the largest fish, most fish, etc. in each age group. There is also an award for the most exemplary catch.

Last year’s we had 259 junior anglers from 10 different states competing!
