Say goodbye to Summer with a rockin’ party at the historic Roanoke Island Festival Park presented by Visit The Outer Banks and benefiting the Mustang Outreach Program. The 1st annual OBX Summer Send Off will be a one day festival celebrating the final week of the traditional summer vacation season and commencement of the local’s summer. The event features something for everyone: local eateries, artisan vendors, handmade art and crafts, national touring artists including JJ Grey and Mofro, and much more. The concert will begin at 3pm (gates open at 2pm) and will run until 10pm. Children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge and will enjoy a kid zone with musical instruments, roaming magicians and face-painting.
