Surfin’ Turkey 5k & Puppy Drum 1/2 Mile Fun Run
Run this beautiful 5K course through the historic fishing village of Hatteras to support the youth of Hatteras Island on Thanksgiving Day. The proceeds from this race support the Hatteras Island Youth Education fund (HIYEF). HIYEF provides funding for educational opportunities and enrichment in Hatteras Island schools. Register early to avoid price increase! This is a non-refundable charity event. Race is rain or shine but will be canceled for safety reasons in event of severe weather.

Hatteras Village Haunted Trail
Park your car at the Hatteras Civic Center and get ready to take a closer look at Hatteras village’s spookier side. Visitors will be transported from the Civic Center to the Hatteras Village Haunted Trail, where a host of thrills, (which may very well include Chuckles the Clown), will be waiting. Cost is $5 per person, and concessions are available. Sponsored by the Hatteras Village Civic Association.
