Top Outer Banks Events & Restaurant Specials for Week of May 22
Get ready for Memorial Day weekend on the Outer Banks! This upcoming weekend kicks off the Summer season with lots of fun events for the whole family.
The first show of the Soundside Live Sunset Concert Series is Thursday, May 25th at the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head featuring performances by national touring acts, Red Wanting Blue, The Commonheart, and Tropidelic. The free show also includes an amazing circus act, local cuisine from Outer Banks restaurants, and handmade goods from the area’s most creative artisan vendors.
Friday, the 26th marks Opening Night and the 80th Anniversary of The Lost Colony! This incredible stage production brings our nation’s oldest mystery to life through epic battles, Native american dances, elegant costuming and beautiful music at the Waterside Theatre in Manteo.
On Sunday, the 28th, gather up the kids and head out to Historic Corolla Park for a day of beach music and fun at the Memorial Day Beach Blast starting at noon.
The rest of the week is also packed with live music and lunch & dinner specials to check out at several Outer Banks restaurants.
