The Halloween International Film Festival comes to the Outer Banks from October 26-28, featuring 3 days of independent films submitted from around the world. Also happening this week is not a Halloween event but just as thrilling, the OBX Brewtäg at the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head on Saturday, October 28. Contestants compete to see who can launch and fly an empty keg barrel the furthest. The sky is the limit as to how creative these homemade flying contraptions will be! Public admission is free and a crafty selection of local and regional beers plus tasty food will be available for purchase. This family-friendly event will also feature live music and plenty of activities for your kids!
